2016 The Best of business Award

I strive to care for every patient, just as I would care for my own family. I feel that every patient has individual needs and expectations.  I spend time listening to my patients, in order to provide the most individualized, and up-to-date care for their specific situation.  I stay current on all the latest techniques within my specialty including the entire spectrum of upper extremity conditions from the shoulder to the hand. I specialize in minimally invasive techniques and arthroscopy and strive to make treatment as painless as possible. Common conditions I see include carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, ganglion cysts, arthritis, elbow tendonitis, rotator cuff tears, and more!

Dr. Davis completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Davis’ fellowship experience includes hand surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center, Jefferson University, and shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Cornell University Hospital in New York City. Dr. Davis joined Colorado Orthopedics Consultants in 1996.  Beyond the above conditions, Dr. Davis has expertise in, neutral, vascular, and bony trauma of the upper extremity, brachial plexus injuries, and prosthetic arthroplasty of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Carpal tunnel syndrome, and other nerve compression syndromes, arthroscopic surgery of the wrist and elbow, and reconstructive surgery for rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr. Davis and PA Abbott,

I just wanted to thank you for the great work you did on my shoulder.  I really appreciate the skill, teamwork and dedication you both showed in getting me back to work.
I have enclosed a couple of things that I want you both to have as a token of my appreciation.”

I had a right distal biceps repair in August 6, 2018 . By Dec 12, 2018 I was back to full duty. Dr. Craig A Davis and his staff did an amazing job on me. Everyone was helpful and polite throughout my recovery. Thank you very much!!”

Dr.Davis and his staff were very friendly, supportive, and professional. I had to have two surgeries. Both were uneventful and seemed very routine. At every turn during my treatments I believed that I was the most important thing happening. This means a lot when your health and well-being are at stake. Thanks for caring about Me.”

Dr. Davis is professional and thorough. He performed two surgeries on me, one on each wrist, and both healed quickly and the pain is gone! Every interaction with him has been great. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain each problem and the potential solutions completely. I hope I don’t need surgery again, but if I do, he will be the first person I call.”

We cannot say enough about Dr. Davis and his entire staff. My husband has had three Dupuytren’s Contracture surgeries and all have been a most positive experience. Dr. Davis is personable, professional and makes you feel you can put yourself totally in his hands and you will be fine, which has always been the case. My husband and I would recommend him highly to anyone we know. His PA and Nursing staff are also exceptional. You never wait long for answers to questions via phone or email.”

Dr. Davis took excellent care of me during my injury. He was able to surgically repair broken bones at my elbow that have totally healed without loss of motion and with no permanent restrictions. I was able to return to normal activities within 2 months and sports activities within 3 months. I am so thankful for the attention and skill the doctor provided. “

I’ve had the good fortune of being operated upon by Dr. Davis twice. I’m returning soon for a third operation. He continues to impress me as an unusually thoughtful and sympathetic human being. I’m satisfied that I’ve always been well-informed of my injuries, the relevancy of the procedures he’s performed and the outlook I may have. Really cool guy. I’ve healed well from both surgeries and look forward to better health after the third. I would trust the care of my wife and daughter to him.”
